BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 White

Since Apple began launching clean minimalistic products in white, other manufacturers have followed, including, depspite their name… BlackBerry!. Badly done, a white phone can look a little tacky, but not so with this BlackBerry! We can confirm that the white casing used on the BlackBerry Curve 9300 is a really nice shade. It is clear and crisp, not off white or grey and the chrome trim sets it off nicely. We don’t really like white mobile phones for the reasons specified above but we do like this one. The curve 3G itself comes in several different colours and if you want something a little quirky, a little different then the white variant is a great choice.

Now lets get on to some of the fun aspects of the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300. If you go up to a stranger in the street and ask them to name one feature of the BlackBerry range of phones they will most likely say BBM which is short for BlackBerry Messenger. BlackBerry messenger is a system similar to texting or using instant messaging on a computer, you type your messages to the recipient and press send. You can then see if your message has been received and then again if it has been read. There are been divided opinions about whether or not this a good thing, especially if you are avoiding someone as you then can’t use the excuse ‘I didn’t get your message’! To communicate via BBM you need to know the recipients PIN code which will then be stored in your phones memory.

Another great fun feature about the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is the BlackBerry World App Store. This is similar to the Apple Application Centre, you can download applications that have been designed specifically for use with the BlackBerry range of phones. There is an application for everything, from organising your diary to using Twitter, Facebook , Formspring, LinkedIn and any other social networking site you can think of! And of course the BlackBerry Curve 9300 has the option to come with 3G which is a brilliant way to connect to the internet wherever you are (and wherever there is coverage).

You can also use the 3G internet connection to use the maps feature. BlackBerry Maps can be used anywhere, they are a GPS system in your palm! An excellent way to make sure you’re going to right way when you’re on a new journey! We love the BlackBerry Maps system. We’ve tested it and have found that it doesn’t give you any dodgy routes (for example sending you walking through fields full of cows!) and gets you to the place you want to be as quickly as possible.

Because you can expand the memory on the BlackBerry Curve 9300 it makes it the perfect media centre that you can carry around in your pocket. You can store thousands of music tracks or pictures or even work files if you want to load them on using a USB stick.

The whole BlackBerry range are fun phones with a serious business side if that is what you need them to be. We would really recommend this phone and that you check out the white phone cover.
